You are hereby notified that you have been named as a Defendant in a legal action entitled Kimberly Shuff v. Toledo and Ohio River Railway Company, et al. This action has been assigned Case No. 2026 OC 643 and is pending in the Court of Common Pleas of Lawrence County, Ohio before Honorable Judge Christen N. Finley
The Object of the Complaint is to quiet title and extinguish the Defendants’ claiming any interest, if any, in part or all of Lawrence Auditor’s Parcel No. 04-042-1100.000 (3.35 acres, more or less) located in Elizabeth Township, Lawrence County, Ohio: A complete description of the above listed parcels can be found in the Complaint.
You are hereby required to answer the Complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this Notice, which will be published once each week for six (6) successive weeks. The last publication will be made on October 28, 2026, and the 28 days for an answer by you will commence on that date. You must file an answer to the Complaint with the Lawrence County Clerk of the Lawrence County Common Pleas Court, Lawrence County Courthouse, 111 South 4th Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638, and serve a copy on Frederick C. Fisher, Jr., McCown, Fisher & Cremeans, LPA, 311 Park Avenue, Ironton, Ohio 45638.
In case of your failure to answer or otherwise respond as required by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
